Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of internship quality and perceived self- efficacy on entrepreneurial intention among students in Tangerang universities. Entrepreneurial intention is important for students as it will be a main factor in which foundations of their business will be made out of. This study will also focus on whether internship quality and perceived self-efficacy plays an important role on one’s entrepreneurial intention. This study uses the quantitative research approach and the sampling technique that the researchers use is judgement sampling which is a type of purposive sampling. In this research, the researchers have obtained 302 respondents. However, only 251 out of 302 respondents are used for this research, because it represents the number of respondents that have an experience with an internship or are undergoing an internship. The respondents are mainly from UPH and some other Indonesian university students. Data was collected through questionnaires using Google Forms that were distributed to university students at Universitas Pelita Harapan and other Tangerang universities. The data that is processed in this study is generated by PLS-SEM namely the Smart-PLS 3.0 version. The conclusion that can be concluded from the results of this study is that all Hypothesis has a significant impact towards each other / Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas magang dan persepsi self-efficacy terhadap niat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi Tangerang. Niat berwirausaha penting bagi siswa karena akan menjadi faktor utama yang akan menjadi fondasi bisnis mereka. Studi ini juga akan fokus pada apakah kualitas magang dan self-efficacy yang dirasakan memainkan peran penting pada niat kewirausahaan seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang peneliti gunakan adalah judgement sampling yang merupakan jenis purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti memperoleh 302 responden. Namun hanya 251 dari 302 responden yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini, karena ini mewakili jumlah responden yang pernah magang atau sedang menjalani magang. Responden sebagian besar berasal dari UPH dan beberapa mahasiswa Indonesia lainnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner menggunakan Google Forms yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa Universitas Pelita Harapan dan universitas Tangerang lainnya. Data yang diolah dalam penelitian ini dihasilkan oleh PLS-SEM yaitu versi Smart-PLS 3.0. Kesimpulan yang dapat disimpulkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa semua Hipotesis mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan satu sama lain.
