Abstract

Ketidakdisiplinan siswa di dalam kelas merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang menyebabkan kondisi pembelajaran menjadi tidak kondusif. Salah satu bentuk ketidakdisiplinan yang dilakukan siswa adalah tidak menaati peraturan yang berlaku. Sikap tidak disiplin muncul akibat dari kurangnya kesadaran diri siswa memahami tanggung jawabnya sebagai siswa dan tidak adanya pemahaman dasar mengenai alasan penting siswa melakukan sikap disiplin. Tujuan penulisan paper ini untuk menggambarkan penanaman sikap disiplin terhadap siswa kelas XI dengan menerapkan komunikasi persuasif pada pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Menerapkan komunikasi persuasif membantu guru untuk memandang siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah yang harus dibimbing ke dalam perilaku yang baik, sehingga siswa memahami hal-hal yang dapat dan tidak dapat dilakukan agar tidak merugikan dirinya sendiri. Maka dari itu, saat menerapkan komunikasi persuasif untuk menanamkan sikap disiplin siswa, guru harus memperhatikan perkataan, sikap, dan tindakannya. Bagi guru, sebaiknya sebelum menerapkan komunikasi persuasif adalah harus memahami teorinya terlebih dahulu sebelum mempraktikkannya dan mampu membangun komunikasi yang efektif dengan siswa/Indiscipline in the classroom is one of the problems that causes learning conditions to be not conducive. One form of indiscipline committed by students is not obeying applicable regulations. Undisciplined attitude arises from the lack of self-awareness of students understanding their responsibilities as students and the absence of a basic understanding of the important reasons for students to adopt a disciplined attitude. The purpose of this paper is to describe the cultivation of disciplinary attitudes towards class XI students by applying persuasive communication in distance learning. The research method used is to use descriptive qualitative methods. Applying persuasive communication helps the teacher to view students as the image and likeness of God who must be guided into good behavior so that students understand what can and cannot be done so as not to harm themselves. Therefore, when applying persuasive communication to instill student discipline, the teacher must pay attention to his words, attitudes, and actions. Suggestions for teachers before applying persuasive communication is to understand the theory before practicing it and be able to build effective communication with students.
