Abstract

Pendidikan Kristen menjadi sarana meminimalisir dampak negatif perkembangan zaman di era masa kini. Salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan Kristen adalah membentuk perilaku siswa semakin serupa Kristus. Permasalahan yang ditemukan penulis adalah kemandirian belajar siswa SMA yang dinilai memiliki urgensi disebabkan sumber otoritas kebenaran bersumber dari guru. Peran guru dalam mendesain model pembelajaran diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penulisan paper proyek akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan alasan pentingnya model pembelajaran open ended problems learning dan langkah-langkah guru Kristen menerapkan model pembelajaran open ended problems learning dalam membentuk kemandirian belajar siswa SMA. Penulisan paper ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif yang berasal dari buku, jurnal, dokumen data PPL 2, dan sumber terindeks. Adapun kesimpulan dari penulisan paper ini adalah model pembelajaran open ended problems learning penting mengatasi permasalahan kemandirian belajar karena siswa memperoleh kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran dengan idenya sendiri. Langkah-langkah penerapan model pembelajaran open ended problems learning adalah penyajian masalah, eksplorasi penyelesaian masalah, dan analisis perbandingan penyelesaian masalah. Untuk mengoptimalkan hasil kesimpulan tersebut, maka lebih baik jika dalam proses penerapannya, setiap langkah dianalisis kekurangannya termasuk pada bagian penyajian masalah menjadi lebih bermakna./Christian education minimizing negative impact of contemporary developments in the present era. Goal of Christian education is to shape student behavior become more christlike. The problem find in the independent learning of high school students who are considered to have urgency because the source of authority comes from teacher. The role of the teacher is designing the learning model is expected solve the problem. Therefore the purpose of the final project to explain the importance and steps of open ended problems learning for Christian teacher. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative methodology derived from books, journals, PPL 2 documents, and indexed sources. The conclusion from this paper is open ended problems learning importance to solve the problem because student have the opportunity to actively participate in learning with their own ideas. The steps of applying the model is problem presentation, problem solving exploration, and comparative solution. To optimize the results of conclusion, it is better in the application process, each step is analyzed for its shortcoming, including of present the problems to be meaningful for students.
