Abstract

During the pandemic of COVID-19 in 2020, all education levels in Indonesia are force to apply the distance learning in the practice. From the perspective of a teacher, formative and summative assessment are important in all learning process including a distance learning context. Although, a problem occurs when some of students are lack of motivation to do their formative assessment. Therefore, as a Christian teacher try to implement the extrinsic motivation by applying the interactive learning to engage and motivate the students to work the summative assessment. This paper will answer about the main problem of lack of motivation in working the formative and summative assessment during distance learning. This paper uses the Biblical Christian Worldview of teacher as a Shepherd. This paper is using qualitative research as the research method. The result of this writing shows that the interactive learning using a Quizizz can engage the students to work on the summative assessment. Hopefully this paper can help for further teacher which face the same situation as distance learning to apply the specifically interactive learning to overcome the lack of motivation in the learning process.
