Abstract

The education in the 21st century requires strategy and approach that involve technology in the learning process. The teachers are now faced with digital resources and multimedia as the new resources to teach the new generation students which also known as digital natives. Moreover, due to the pandemic situation, every learning session has shifted into online learning, which creates a new learning environment and relies on the application of digital resources to organize virtual teaching and learning. Based on the second practicum observation and literature review, the researcher has found that online learning does not rule out the chances of technical issues due to inadequate digital resources such as unstable internet connection and device incapabilities. Thus, every teacher must have the required skills in utilizing technology to solve the technical issues caused by technology. However, the teachers’ creativity also holds an important role to attract students’ attention and increase their engagement by conducting an interesting learning situation.
