Abstract
The purpose of this report is to understand the current industry of financial technologies and analyze a client's object of acquisition (which shall be referred as company X due to non-disclosure agreement with EY). The contents are divided into two segments, the first being the overall understanding as to what and how financial technological companies are based on and how they run, secondly, is to determine and understand what variables are to be taken into consideration when executing the process of remodeling and restructuring of a financial technological company. The data of this report is collected from EY's internal data resource, as well as data taken from a non-disclosed client in order to gather more detailed information to support this report. Some additional information from government websites are also required in order to collect external data. Based on the Operational Strategy, factors such as the business architecture capability model, maturity model, product and service model, risk control management and key performance indicators are an important tool of use in which provides companies with a goal-sense of direction towards better development that is crucial for optimizing growth within the industry. When analyzing company x's positioning within the maturity model, it indicates that the current position in which company x stands is still within the basic and developing stages, but with the new established Operational Strategy there is a significant chance of growth that will lead to the established and advanced stages.
