Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dengan objek penelitian ialah pada gaya komunikasi Mahfud MD. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif analitis. Uji keabsahan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data yang mana Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mahfud MD menggunakan gaya komunikasi yang jelas tidak bertele-tele dan mampu memecahnya menjadi sebuah arahan sesuai fungsi pada unit hingga menghasilkan tindak lanjut. Gayanya yang sangat konsen terhadap analisis data menjadikannya sosok pimpinan yang mempunyai gaya komunikasi dua arah. kompetensi dalam pengelolaan kemampuan emosi, kemampuan kognisi dan fisik telah dimiliki oleh Mahfud MD mampu membawanya ke dalam pengelolaan output yang baik. gaya komunikasinya yang stabil mampu membentuk citra Mahfud sebagai seorang yang tidak arogan. / This study used an interpretive paradigm with the research object was Mahfud MD's communication style. The method used was qualitative content analysis with analytical descriptive technique. Data validity tests were carried out using data triangulation technique in which data collection techniques were obtained through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that Mahfud MD used a clear straightforward communication style and was able to break it down into a direction according to the function of the unit to produce follow-ups. His style that was very concerned about data analysis making him a leader who had a two-way communication style, competence in managing emotional ability, cognitive and physical abilities have been owned by Mahfud MD which was able to bring it into a good output management. His stable communication style was able to shape Mahfud's image as a person who was not arrogant.
