Abstract

Fenomena bullying masih banyak terjadi di Indonesia terlebih lagi dalam dunia pendidikan. Bentuk-bentuk bullying dapat berupa tindakan fisik, verbal dan emosional. Perilaku kekerasan yang diulang-ulang dan mendapat paksaan secara psikis ataupun fisik merupakan ciri-ciri perilaku bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dengan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa kelas XII di Banyuwangi dan hubungan antara harga diri dengan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa kelas XII di Banyuwangi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total qouta sampling melalui penyebran kuesioner kepada 82 siswa kelas XII di SMAK X Banyuwangi. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan tekni analisis uji korelasi product moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian untuk menjawab hipotesis pertama menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri memiliki hubungan negatif dengan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa kelas XII di Banyuwangi dengan nilai r = -0,592 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara konsep diri dan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying artinya semakin positif konsep diri maka semakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa, begitupula sebaliknya. Semakin negatif konsep diri seseorang maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa. Hasil penelitian untuk menjawab hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa harga diri memiliki hubungan negatif dengan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa kelas XII di Banyuwangi dengan nilai r = -0,796 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara harga diri dan kecenderungan berperilaku bullying artinya semakin positif harga diri maka semakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa, begitupula sebaliknya. Semakin negatif harga diri seseorang maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan berperilaku bullying pada siswa. Dari penelitian ini saran yang dapat diberikan kepada sekolah adalah supaya dapat membimbing dan memberikan edukasi agar perilaku bullying menurun kepada siswa didik sehingga siswa dapat memiliki konsep diri dan harga diri yang baik bagi dirinya. / The phenomenon of bullying is still a lot going on in Indonesia, especially in the world of education. Form of bullying can through the actions of physical, verbal, and emotional. Violent behavior that is repeated and receive psychological or physical coercion are the traits of bullying behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and the tendency of bullying in class XII students in Banyuwangi and the relationship between self-esteem and the tendency of bullying behavior in class XII students in Banyuwangi. The sample was taken using a total quota sampling technique through distributing questionnaires to 82 students of class XII at SMAK X Banyuwangi. This quantitative research was analyzed using the Pearson product moment correlation analysis technique. The results of the research to answer the first hypothesis indicate that self-concept has a negative relationship with the tendency of bullying behavior in class XII students in Banyuwangi with a value of r = -0.592 and a significance value of 0.000. Based on these results, it can be said that there is a negative correlation between self-concept and the tendency to behave in bullying, meaning that the more positive the self-concept, the lower the tendency of bullying behavior in students, and vice versa. The more negative a person’s self-concept, the higher the tendency to behave bullying on students. The results of the study to answer the second hypothesis indicate that self-esteem has a negative correlation with the tendency of bullying behavior in class XII students in Banyuwangi with a value of r = -0.796 and a significance value of 0.000. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that there is a negative relationship between self-esteem and the tendency to behave in bullying, meaning that the more positive the self-esteem, the lower the tendency of bullying behavior in students, and vice versa. The more negative a person's self-esteem, the higher the tendency to behave bullying on students. From this research, the suggestion that can be given to schools is that they can guide and provide education to students so that bullying behavior decreases to students so the students can have a good self-concept and self-esteem.
