Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil refleksi peneliti yang dituangkan ke dalam jurnal refleksi peneliti dan didukung oleh hasil wawancara guru mentor dan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa kelas XI IPS SMA JA perlu didorong untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mereka. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memutuskan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui meningkat atau tidaknya keterampilan berbicara siswa dan cara penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas XI IPS SMA JA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SMA JA, sebuah sekolah Kristen di provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dari tanggal 23 Oktober 2014 sampai 13 November 2014. Hasil data dianalisis dengan teknik statistika sederhana dan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan rubrik peer assessment, lembar observasi mentor (terhadap masalah), lembar observasi rekan sejawat, lembar observasi mentor (terhadap metode), angket siswa, dan jurnal refleksi peneliti.. Hasil dari penelitian selama tiga siklus menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dalam enam indikator keterampilan berbicara siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya rata-rata persentase pencapaian keterampilan berbicara para siswa. Penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa adalah penerapan sesuai langkah-langkahnya dan memberlakukan rubrik keterampilan berbicara pada saat siswa melakukan presentasi. / This research is based on the results of the reflection of researcher poured into the journal reflection and researcher supported by results of interview of teacher mentors and teachers of Indonesian Language. Researcher found that students of Class XI IPS HIGH SCHOOL JA need driven to improve their speaking skills. Therefore, researcher decided to implement cooperative learning, Jigsaw type to improve students' speaking skills. The purpose of this research is to know whether the implementation of cooperative learning Jigsaw type can improve students‟ speaking skill or not and the ways of implementation of cooperative learning, Jigsaw type that can improve speaking skills of students of Class XI IPS JA HIGH SCHOOL. This research that was conducted with the Class Action Research method (CAR) was done in high school JA, a Christian school in the province of Lampung. This research was conducted in three cycles from October 23, 2014 to 13 November 2014. The data were analyzed with the statistical technique is simple and descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. Research data was collected using peer assessment rubric, the observation sheet mentor (to the problem), the observation sheet colleagues, observation sheets mentor (the method), now students, researchers and journal reflection. The result of research over the last three cycles showed that an increase in the six indicators of students ' speaking skills. This is shown by the increased average percentage achievement of students ' speaking skills. The application of cooperative learning, Jigsaw type capable of improving speaking skills of students is the application of appropriate steps and apply the rubric speaking skills at a time when students do a presentation.
