Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan di kelas XI Social Basic 1 dan 2 di sebuah sekolah Kristen di Karawaci, penulis menemukan beberapa masalah yang mengindikasikan adanya pelanggaran kedisiplinan di kelas Akuntansi. Siswa umumnya tidak mengikuti peraturan yang diberlakukan oleh guru, tidak mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang diberikan dengan baik, berbicara dengan teman sejawat pada saat guru menjelaskan pelajaran, dan guru juga tidak menerapkan konsekuensi yang tegas atas pelanggaran di dalam kelas. Oleh karena itu, penulis ingin melihat bagaimana kedisiplinan yang berlaku di kedua kelas tersebut. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 18 November sampai 20 November 2014 pada siswa yang berjumlah 52 orang dengan menggunakan beberapa instrument, antara lain: lembar observasi siswa, lembar angket siswa, dan refleksi guru mata pelajaran Akuntansi. Melalui pengamatan tersebut, hasil yang didapatkan menyatakan bahwa fungsi disiplin sebagai latihan dan untuk mendidik tidak tercapai dengan baik. Bentuk kedisiplinan yang diterapkan oleh guru merupakan jenis disiplin permisif yang tidak menerapkan batas yang tegas antara perbuatan benar dan salah. Hasil ini di dukung oleh lembar observasi, angket siswa, dan refleksi guru yang dikumpulkan oleh penulis. / Based on the observation which was done in XI Social Basic 1 and 2 in a Christian School at Karawaci; the observer found some problems that indicate breach of discipline in the Accounting classes. The students were not following the teacher‟s instructions in the classroom, didn‟t do the task well, talking with their friends while the teacher taught, and the teacher didn‟t apply strong consequences for the violations. Because of this, the observer wants to find out how discipline is applied in both classes. The observation was conducted in November, 18th 2014 until November 20th 2014 to 52 students which were using some instruments, such as: students‟ observation, students‟ questionnaire, and teacher‟s reflection in this Accounting classes. The result from this observation proved that the function of discipline as training and educating were not achieved. The form of discipline that applied in these classes was permissive that are not having strict line between right and wrong. This result is supported by the observations, students‟ questionnaire and teacher‟s reflection that were collected by the observer.
