Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh tingkat persaingan pasar dengan struktur modal di perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Indonesia terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan data panel dan menggunakan model fixed effect. Perusahaan yang diteliti sebanyak 180 perusahaan dengan periode waktu Januari 2006 hingga Desember 2010. Penelitian pertama menggunakan uji Hausman yang dimana untuk menentukan menggunakan pendekatan fixed effect atau random effect. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat persaingan pasar berpengaruh positif. / This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the level of competition in the market with the capital structure of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange The research was conducted in Indonesia to companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using panel data and using the fixed effect model. Companies under study as much as 180 companies with the time period January 2006 to December 2010. The first study using a Hausman test to determine which approach fixed effect or random effect. The results of this study indicate that the level of market competition has a positive effect.
