Abstract

XYZ.com adalah salah satu site e-commerce yang didirikan pada tahun 1999 dan sampai saat ini masih aktif. Jarang sekali site e-commerce dapat bertahan dari krisis ekonomi yang berkepanjangan seperti saat ini. Ditambah lagi faktor-faktor lain yang menghambat perkembangan e-commerce di Indonesia. Sampai saat ini XYZ.com sudah mengalami pembaharuan tampilan site sebanyak tiga kali, hal ini sebagai salah satu keinginan manajemen untuk serius dalam melayani konsumen. Banyak kendala yang dihadapi oleh XYZ.com sampai usianya yang ke tiga ini, tetapi pihak manajemen tetap berusaha agar XYZ.com tetap dapat bertahan. Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi adalah informasi produk kadang terlambat untuk di-update, harga yang sulit terjangkau masyarakat umum. Dengan beberapa kendala tersebut maka pihak manajemen telah berusaha memecahkannya dengan cara, melakukan perampingan struktur organisasi, juga melakukan outsourcing. Hal-hal yang telah ditempuh oleh pihak manajemen ini terbukti berhasil untuk membuat XYZ.com mampu bertahan di dalam kompetisi yang ketat ini dan diharapkan dapat membuat kemajuan yang berarti bagi bisnis XYZ.com. / XYZ.com is an e-commerce site that was founded in 1999 and is still active. It is rare for an e-commerce site to survive the prolonged economic crisis like it is today. Plus other factors that hinder the development of e-commerce in Indonesia. Until now, XYZ.com has undergone three times renewal of its site appearance, this is one of the management's wishes to be serious in serving consumers. There are many obstacles faced by XYZ.com until it is three years old, but the management is still trying to make XYZ.com survive. Some of the obstacles faced are product information that is sometimes too late to be updated, prices that are difficult for the general public to reach. With some of these obstacles, the management has tried to solve them by streamlining the organizational structure, as well as outsourcing. The things that have been taken by the management have proven successful in making XYZ.com able to survive in this fierce competition and are expected to make meaningful progress for the XYZ.com business.
