Abstract

Time after time, globalization and international business rapidly growing and developing new technologies which could help us in our daily life and making our environment more eco-friendly. Electronic industry that make lights is now developing more Eco-friendly lights bulbs by using Light-emitting-diode (LED). Phillips industry for the past years is one of the leading Top Brand from other brand for selling Eco-friendly Lights. Even though Phillips is one of the leading brand for selling Eco-friendly Lights, for the past year there has been a decrease of their sales. Therefore, this research has utilized Environmental Knowledge, Environmental Concern, Subjective Norms, Price Fairness, and attitudes as independent variables to explore their influence towards green purchase of Phillips Eco-friendly Light-emitting-diode (LED) to examine the cause of the problems and give some solutions and recommendation to improve their sales in Indonesia. This research will gather information by using questionnaire the main source of data collection. Before actual data is collected, a preliminary test of 30 respondents will be conducted to assess the reliability and validity of the instruments. This research actual data consist of 360 respondents to be analysed. The data will be analyse by using the instrument of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) through SmartPLS. The result indicated that Environmental Knowledge, Environment concern, Subjective Norms, Price fairness, Attitudes have a significant and positive influence towards Green Purchase intention. Waktu demi waktu, globalisasi dan bisnis internasional berkembang pesat dan mengembangkan teknologi baru yang dapat membantu kita dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan membuat lingkungan kita lebih ramah lingkungan. Industri elektronik yang membuat lampu kini mengembangkan lebih banyak lampu ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan Light-emitting-diode (LED). Industri Phillips selama bertahun-tahun terakhir adalah salah satu Top Brand terkemuka dari merek lain yang menjual Eco-friendly Lights. Meskipun Phillips adalah salah satu merek terkemuka untuk menjual Lampu Ramah Lingkungan, selama setahun terakhir ada penurunan penjualan mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini telah memanfaatkan Pengetahuan Lingkungan, Kepedulian Terhadap Lingkungan, Norma Subjektif, Kewajaran Harga, dan sikap sebagai variabel independen untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruhnya terhadap pembelian hijau Phillips Eco-friendly Light-emitting-diode (LED) untuk memeriksa penyebab masalah dan memberikan beberapa solusi dan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan penjualan mereka di Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan mengumpulkan informasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner sumber utama pengumpulan data. Sebelum data aktual dikumpulkan, tes awal terhadap 30 responden akan dilakukan untuk menilai keandalan dan validitas instrumen. Data aktual penelitian ini terdiri dari 360 responden yang akan dianalisis. Data tersebut akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan instrumen Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) melalui SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengetahuan Lingkungan, Kepedulian lingkungan, Norma Subjektif, Keadilan harga, Sikap memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap niat Green Purchase.
