Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transaksional dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan komitmen organisasional sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 261 karyawan teknisi First Media PT. Rizki Persada Sejati di Jakarta dan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian adalah 158 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket melalui google form berisi 65 pertanyaan dengan Skala Likert 1 – 5 berdasarkan metode simple random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis jalur yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel komitmen organisasional tidak memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transaksional dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan karena variabel kepemimpinan transaksional dan motivasi kerja memiliki nilai koefisien pengaruh langsung lebih besar daripada nilai koefisien pengaruh tidak langsung./This study aims to determine the effect of transactional leadership and work motivation on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The population in this study were 261 technician employees of First Media PT. Rizki Persada Sejati in Jakarta and the number of samples in the study was 158 people. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through google form containing 65 questions with a Likert scale of 1 - 5 based on the simple random sampling method. Data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The results of the study stated that transactional leadership had a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, based on the results of the path analysis carried out, the results show that the variable organizational commitment does not mediate the effect of transactional leadership and work motivation on employee performance because the transactional leadership and work motivation variables have a direct influence coefficient value greater than the indirect effect coefficient value.
