Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate variables that affect teacher leadership. It focused on human resources frame that highlight a good fit between people and organization benefit both parties. Data were collected through questionnaires to 28 teachers teaching from play group level up to 12th grade at Heritage School Jakarta followed by interview to several teachers. Data analysis was carried out by using structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) method by utilizing SmartPLS 3.2.7 for Windows. Person-organization fit, Person-job fit and teacher empowerment were found positively affect teacher leadership with path coefficient consecutively +0.366, +0.363, and +0.337. Using teacher empowerment as intervening variables to person-organization fit and person-job fit, their total impact is 76.5% to teacher leadership. Goodness of fit (GoF) produced was 0.629 (large) that indicated model fit in explaining data. Using 95% confidence interval (p=0.05), each human resources factor analyzed was found statistically significant to teacher leadership. The results obtained can be very useful for school leaders to plan and to develop human resource programs that support teacher leaders. / Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepemimpinan guru. Fokus penelitian pada perspektif sumber daya manusia yang yang berpandangan bahwa kesesuaian antara individu dan organisasi akan menguntungkan kedua pihak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner kepada 28 guru yang mengajar dari jenjang kelompok bermain sampai kelas 12 di Sekolah Heritage Jakarta dilanjutkan dengan wawancara terhadap beberapa guru. Analisis data menggunakan permodelan persamaan struktural dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan memanfaaatkan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.2.7 for Windows. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa person-organization fit, person-job fit and pemberdayaan guru memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepemimpinan guru yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien jalur masing-masing adalah +0,366, +0,363, dan +0,337 terhadap kepemimpinan guru. Dengan menggunakan pemberdayaan guru sebagai variabel intervening terhadap person-organization fit dan person-job fit, gabungan ketiganya memberikan efek total 76,5% terhadap kepemimpinan guru. Uji kesesuaian model menghasilkan nilai Goodness of fit (GoF) 0,629 (large) menunjukkan model yang dihasilkan fit dan mampu menjelaskan data dengan baik. Dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (nilai p=0,05), uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa setiap faktor sumber daya manusia yang dianalisis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepemimpinan guru. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat menjadi pertimbangan pimpinan sekolah untuk merencanakan dan mengembangkan program sumber daya manusia yang mendukung lahirnya guru-guru pemimpin
