Abstract

Political propaganda is largely determined by communicators who have the expertise, competence, reliability, and trustworthiness to persuade. Fahri Hamzah is the deputy chairman of the House of Representatives conducting political propaganda seeking to stigmatize the KPK. The study discussed in this research is how the new media used by Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Fahri Hamzah for the purpose of political propaganda, especially in the efforts of criticism KPK. The approach of this research is qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method by taking research object in his youtube containing political propaganda as well as direct interview with media team, political observer, political communication expert, and society. The result of this research is the political propaganda used by Fahri Hamzah, namely name calling and card buildup. The name of the call propaganda gives a bad lobe to the KPK because the KPK runs the politics there, run here, the KPK's politics, criminals, authoritarian mental. While the list of conglomerations of propaganda cards in terms of bad facts such as salaries earned by KPK is greater than other law enforcers, unlimited case service, the KPK gets special support from international institutions, KPK conducts practical politics, tapping by KPK violates the law, feel intimidated. by KPK. Meanwhile, propaganda by Fahri Hamzah on youtube aims to touch netizens emotionally, thereby improving the pros and cons comments. / Propaganda politik sangat ditentukan oleh komunikator yang memiliki keahlian, kompetensi, kehandalan, dan dapat dipercaya mampu melakukan persuasi. Fahri Hamzah merupakan wakil ketua DPR RI melakukan propaganda politik berupaya untuk memberikan stigma buruk terhadap KPK. Studi yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana media baru dimanfaatkan oleh Wakil Ketua DPR RI Fahri Hamzah untuk keperluan propaganda politk, terutama dalam upaya kritik terhadap KPK. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif mengambil objek penelitian di youtube Fahri Hamzah yang mengandung propaganda politik serta melakukan wawancara langsung kepada tim media Fahri Hamzah, pengamat politik, pakar politik, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah propaganda politik yang digunakan Fahri Hamzah, yaitu name calling dan card stacking. Propaganda name calling memberi lebel buruk terhadap KPK dengan sebutan KPK politik lari sana, lari sini, KPK berpolitik, preman kampung, mental otoriter, dan menglorafikasi atau mendewa-dewakan. Sedangkan propaganda card stacking menampilkan dari segi fakta buruk seperti gaji yang diperoleh KPK lebih besar dari pada aparat hukum lainnya, pelayanan perkara tidak terbatas, KPK mendapatkan dukungan khusus oleh lembaga internasional, KPK melakukan politik praktis, penyadapan yang dilakukan KPK melanggar undang-undang, dan lembaga hukum merasa diintimidasi oleh KPK. Sementara, propaganda yang dilakukan Fahri Hamzah di youtube bertujuan untuk menyentuh netizen secara emosional, sehingga menimbulkan komentar pro dan kontra.
