Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh positif disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PNS generasi Y di Kementerian Perdagangan. Keberhasilan Kementerian Perdagangan sebagai salah satu organisasi yang bertugas menyelenggarakan urusan pemerintahan di bidang perdagangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kinerja seluruh pegawai sebagai penggerak utama dalam pelaksanaan rencana strategis yang jumlahnya didominasi oleh pegaawai PNS generasi Y. Berdasarkan data sekunder yang telah digali, ditemukan adanya beberapa permasalahan dalam peningkatan kinerja di Kementerian Perdagangan, antara lain penurunan rata-rata penilaian prestasi kerja pegawai, kurangnya pemahaman pegawai mengenai tugas jabatannya, kurangnya disiplin kerja yang ditunjukkan melalui banyaknya jumlah hukuman disiplin yang didominasi oleh generasi Y, yang semuanya ini dapat menghambat kinerja pegawai PNS generasi Y di Kementerian Perdagangan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan target populasi adalah seluruh PNS generasi Y pada Kementerian Perdagangan, Jakarta dengan jumlah sampel yang ditentukan sebesar 401 sampel. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling, dengan analisis statistik menggunakan partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, variabel motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan begitu juga dengan variabel kepuasan kerja terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai./ The purpose of this study was to analyze the positive effects of work discipline, work motivation, and job satisfaction on the performance of Y generation civil servants in the Ministry of Trade. The success of the Ministry of Trade as one of the organizations in charge of organizing government affairs in the trade sector is strongly influenced by the performance of all employees as the main movers in the implementation of strategic plans, the number of which is dominated by generation Y civil servants. performance in the Ministry of Trade, including a decrease in the average performance appraisal of employees, a lack of understanding of employees regarding their job duties, a lack of work discipline as shown by the large number of disciplinary sentences dominated by generation Y, all of which can hinder the performance of Y generation civil servants in Ministry of Trade. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a target population of all Y generation civil servants at the Ministry of Trade, Jakarta with a specified sample size of 401 samples. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with statistical analysis using partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the work discipline variable has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, the work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the job satisfaction variable is proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
