Abstract

Christian education aims to exercise the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations of Jesus Christ. Christian education has an eternal vision, so in addition to competence and calling, a Christian leader should be a spiritual leader, because spiritual leaders are leaders who surrender their will to God's will. The role of spiritual leaders to achieve the goal of education is to do holistic empowerment. This study aims to determine the role of Principal as Spiritual Leader in Empowering Other Leaders in HDS School Jakarta. Spiritual leadership is one of the roles of a principal in HDS School Jakarta. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using in-depth interview, semi-structured and observation. The validity of the data will be tested with source triangulation. The results of the research indicate that the Principal as Spiritual Leader has played a role in performing structural empowerment, while the empowerment of thought (mind) has not been done in a focused and intense manner. / Pendidikan Kristen bertujuan untuk menjalankan Amanat Agung yaitu menjadikan semua bangsa murid Yesus Kristus. Pendidikan Kristen memiliki visi kekal, sehingga selain kompotensi (competency) dan panggilan (calling), seorang pemimpin Kristen seharusnya menjadi pemimpin rohani (spiritual leader), karena pemimpin rohani adalah pemimpin yang menyerahkan kehendak diri pada kehendak Allah. Peran pemimpin rohani untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan adalah dengan melakukan pemberdayaan holistis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Pemimpin Rohani Dalam Memberdayakan Pemimpin Lainnya di Sekolah HDS Jakarta. Kepemimpinan rohani adalah salah satu peran dari seorang kepala Sekolah di sekolah HDS Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, semi terstruktur dan observasi. Keabsahan data akan diuji dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Pemimpin Rohani telah berperan dalam melakukan pemberdayaan struktural, sedangkan pemberdayaan pemikiran (mind) belum dilakukan secara fokus dan intens.
