Abstract

Dalam sebuah perusahaan, sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu elemen utama dalam menentukan kesuksesan perusahaan tersebut. Kinerja karyawan pada dasarnya yang akan mempengaruhi kemajuan perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Salah satu factor yang memiliki peran penting bagi kinerja karyawan adalah kecerdasan emosional. Kecerddasan emosional dideskripsikan sebagai kemampuan individu memahami kondisi emosi pada dirinya dan dapat berperillaku sesuai dengan situasi yang ia hadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mlihat gambaran kecerdasan emosional pada karyawan PT Mega Central Finance. Partisipan terdiri dari 55 karyawan PT Mega Central Finance di Jakarta, yang diukur menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosional yang dibuat oleh Lanawati. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa 78,2% karyawan PT Mega Central Finance memiliki tingkat kecerdasan emosional rata-rata, 14,5% diatas rata-rata, 5,5% dibawah rata-rata dan sisanya 1,8% memiliki tingkat kecerdasan emosional tinggi./In a company, human resources are one of the main elements in determining the success of the company. Basically, employee performance will affect the progress of the company. One of the factors that has an important role for employee performance is emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is described as the individual's ability to understand his emotional state and be able to behave in accordance with the situation he is facing. This study aims to see a picture of the emotional intelligence of employees of PT Mega Central Finance. Participants consisted of 55 employees of PT Mega Central Finance in Jakarta, who were measured using an emotional intelligence scale created by Lanawati. The results of data processing show that 78.2% of PT Mega Central Finance employees have an average level of emotional intelligence, 14.5% above average, 5.5% below average and the remaining 1.8% have a high level of emotional intelligence.
