Abstract

Profit growth is the ratio that shows how company increases its net profit over the previous year. The higher the ratio of profit growth, the better the company financial performance. This research aims to examine the effects of current ratio, debt to asset ratio and net profit margin ratio toward profit growth in manufacturing companies sub sector of consumer goods. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. There are 15 companies used as samplings in this research. Analytical technique used in this research is multiple linear regression model by using SPSS 25. Data samples are tested by using classical assumption test such as normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heterosedasticity test where the hypothesis test are done by using the F test, T test and R Square. The result of this research shows that current ratio has partially significant effect towards profit growth with a significant level 0.048 while net profit margin ratio and debt to assets ratio have not partially significant effect towards profit growth in sub-sector of consumer goods with a significance level of 0.256 and 0.286
