Abstract

Pada era perkembangan organisasi saat ini perusahaan membutuhkan lebih dari sekedar kinerja yang berkaitan dengan tugas tapi juga kontekstual (extra-role) agar tetap kompetitif dalam persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh Leader Member Exchange terhadap Employee Engagement. (2) Pengaruh Employee Engagement terhadap Work Role Performance. (3) Pengaruh moderasi Employee Engagement antara Leader Member Exchange terhadap Work Role Performance. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian survey. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan dari 5 sektor industri dari berbagai level jabatan yang termasuk dalam XYZ Group sebanyak 164 sampel. Alat ukur terbukti valid dan reliabel untuk instrumen penelitian. Analisis uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier dengan metode analisis data menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM) yang diolah menggunakan program Smart PLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terlepas dari bagaimanapun hubungan responden dengan atasannya, perilaku saling tolong menolong dan kerjasama efektif antar karyawan bahkan dengan atasan dan organisasinya tetap terjaga. Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan perlunya peningkatan hubungan leader member exchange untuk peningkatan employee engagement karyawan yang kemudian memungkinkan pegaruh variabel tersebut terhadap work role performance Dengan mengetahui pengaruh hubungan tersebut dapat dijadikan masukan untuk merancang strategi guna meningkatkan kinerja non tugas karyawan / In the current era of organizational development, companies need more than just performance that related to the task but also a contextual performance (extra-role) in order to remain its competitiveness in the competition. This study aims to determine: (1) Influence Leader Member Exchange on Employee Engagement. (2) Influence of Employee Engagement on Work Role Performance. (3) Influence of Employee Engagement moderation on Leader Member Exchange and Work Role Performance. This research is categorized as a survey research. The instrument of this research is questionnaire. The population of this research is 164 employees of 5 industry sectors from various levels of positions included in the XYZ Group. Measurers is valid and reliable for research instruments. Analysis of hypothesis test is using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) which processed using Smart PLS program version 3.0. The results show that regardless of the relationship between the respondents and their superiors, the mutual help behavior and effective cooperation between the employees and the organization is maintained. These empirical findings indicate the need to increase employee relationships in order to increase non-task performance from the employees
