Abstract

Latar Belakang : Gastritis pada umumnya disebabkan oleh perilaku dan pola makan yang tidak sesuai, sehingga diperlukan pola makan yang sesuai untuk mencegah terjadinya peningkatan atau kambuhnya gastritis pada masyarakat khususnya usia remaja yang baru memasuki perkuliahan. Berdasarkan hasil survey yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa keperawatan S1 tingkat pertama angkatan 2020 yang berjumlah 219 disalah satu universitas di tangerang didapatkan 67,4% suka mengkonsumsi makanan pedas, dan 70,7% memiliki pola makan yang tidak teratur, selain itu terdapat 69% yang sering menunda untuk makan dan 69,6% yang sering telat makan. Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran pola makan mahasiswa tingkat pertama angkatan 2020 dalam terjadinya gastritis. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner (Minggu, 2014). Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 142 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Maret-April 2021. Hasil : Penelitian ini menunjukkan mahasiswa tingkat pertama yang berusia 18 tahun (65,49%) memiliki pola makan yang kurang baik dalam terjadinya grastritis (52,82%) yang lebih didominasi oleh mahasiswa perempuan (88,03%), dan sebanyak 76,06% tidak memiliki riwayat gastritis. Kesimpulan : Hal ini menunjukkan mahasiswa keperawatan tingkat pertama memiliki peluang besar dalam terjadinya gastritis dan perlu menerapkan pola makan yang baik untuk mencegah terjadinya gastritis./ Background: Gastritis is generally caused by inappropriate behavior and eat patterns, so an appropriate eat pattern is needed to prevent an increase or recurrence of gastritis in society, especially teenagers who are just entering college. Based on the results of a survey conducted on 219 first-level undergraduate nursing students at one of the universities in Tangerang, it was found that 67.4% like to consume spicy food, and 70.7% have an irregular eat pattern, besides that there are 69% who often eat spicy food. delaying to eat and 69.6% who often eat late. Research Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the description of the eat patterns of first-year students in the class of 2020 in the occurrence of gastritis.Research Methods: This research design uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire (Minggu, 2014). The sample in this study amounted to 142 people. This research was conducted in March-April 2021. Results: This study shows that first-year students aged 18 years (65.49%) have a poor eat pattern in the occurrence of gastritis (52.82%) which is more dominated by female students (88.03%) and as many as 76.06% had no history of gastritis. Conclusion: This research shows that first-year nursing students have a great chance of developing gastritis and need to apply a good eat pattern to prevent gastritis.
