Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, maka teknologi mulai digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan. Demikian juga yang terjadi pada sekolah XYZ yang menggunakan tablet dalam pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana pembelajaran inkuiri menggunakan tablet membawa perubahan sikap inkuiri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan sikap inkuiri siswa terhadap penggunaan tablet di kelas, (2) Melihat Sejauh mana peran guru dalam pembelajaran inkuiri menggunakan teknologi tablet di dalam pembelajaran di kelas, dan (3) Pengaruh penerapan teknologi tablet di dalam pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap sikap inkuiri para siswa di kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari Agustus 2016 sampai dengan November 2016. Subyek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas 1 sekolah XYZ berjumlah 10 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi siswa dan guru, studi dokumen dan wawancara serta dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sikap inkuiri siswa terhadap penggunaan tablet terdeskripsikan (2) Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam persiapan pembelajaran dan juga dalam menyediakan provokasi-provokasi untuk mengembangkan sikap inkuiri siswa (3) Penerapan teknologi tablet menunjukkan pengaruh terhadap sikap inkuiri siswa dengan perencaanan dan penerapan aplikasi di tablet yang memberikan fasilitas siswa untuk mengkomunikasikan pembelajaran inkuiri / The development of technology is rapidly progressing. It starts its involvement in educational institutions. The XYZ school has applied technology in inquiry learning by adopting tablet in the classroom. The research aims to see deeper on how inquiry learning using tablet influences students inquiry attitudes. In details, the research aims to: 1) to describe students‟ inquiry attitudes towards the usage of tablet technology, 2) the role of teacher in the inquiry learning using tablet technology in the classroom, 3) the influence of tablet technology applied in the classroom on students inquiry attitudes. The research was conducted from August 2016 to November 2016. The research subjects are grade 1 students and teacher of XYZ school. The research subjects are 10 students and 1 teacher. All data compiled for this research were from classroom observations, document studies and interviews. All data were analysed qualitatively. The results of this research are 1) the description of students‟ inquiry attitudes is recorded, 2) teacher has significant role in preparing the inquiry learning using tablet including provocations in developing students inquiry attitudes, 3) the use of tablet technology has impact on students inquiry attitudes with a better planning and applications installed in the tablets to facilitate students in communicating their learning inquiry
