Abstract

In this highly competitive era of business environment, organizations that are striving to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. Those organizations that runs their business in logistics industries are competing in giving the best services to fulfill the customer’s needs and demands. PT. Freight Express Medan, that runs their business in logistics industries that has reach their 25 years landmark, with aim to give in provide the best services. Phenomenon usually occur in the company is the decreasing in number of sales. In this research, the caused that might happen in decreasing in number of sales is the unsatisfaction with the services that was given. This research uses theories about logistics management and organizational performance. The framework of this research is to figure out the relationship between logistics management and organizational performance.The methods that was used by the writer in this research is quantitative descriptive research. In this research, the writer uses simple linear regression, hypothesis test and determination coefficient to figure out the impact of logistics management towards organizational performance. Based on result of the research stated that, simple linear regression showed equation of Y = 9,152 + 0,720 X. Which means that logistics management has a straight relationship towards organizational performance, which if there is an increase in the logistics management, the organizational performance will also increase
