Abstract

Untuk mencapai keberhasilan pada suatu organisasi, diperlukan sumber daya manusia sebagai kontributor potensial untuk menciptakan realisasi misi, visi, nilai, dan tujuan organisasi. Motivasi karyawan dianggap penting bagi organisasi karena setiap perhatian membutuhkan sumber daya fisik, keuangan dan manusia untuk mencapai tujuan. Motivasi kerja didefinisikan segala sesuatu yang mendorong seseorang untuk melaksanakan tugasnya untuk mencapai tujuan yang mereka inginkan, yang dibagi kedalam enam jenis dimensi berdasarkan selfdetermination theory dari alat ukur Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) (Gagné, dkk., 2015). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran motivasi kerja karyawan di PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta. Partisipan terdiri dari 46 karyawan yang mengisi kuesioner motivasi kerja. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa 37,0% karyawan yang bekerja di PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta memiliki motivasi kerja yang sedang dan 58,7% sisanya memiliki motivasi kerja yang tinggi. Berdasarkan aspek demografis menunjukkan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap usia dan jenis kelamin, Sementara itu, pendidikan terakhir, jabatan, satatus pernikahan, dan lama bekerja tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dengan motivasi kerja karyawan PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perusahan dapat meningkatkan faktor-faktor motivasi seperti gaji, bonus, tunjangan, dan jenjang karir yang jelas. Selain itu, karyawan perlu untuk mempertahankan motivasi kerja yang sudah dimiliki dan dapat mingkatkan motivasi kerja mereka dengan cara mengetahui kemampuan dan keinginan mereka dalam bekerja. / To achieve success in an organization, human resources are needed as potential contributors to create the realization of the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization. Motivation is considered important for organizations because every concern requires physical, financial, and human resources to achieve goals. Work motivation is defined as anything that encourages someone to carry out the goals they want, which is divided into six types of dimensions based on self-determination theory from the Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) measuring instrument (Gagné, et al., 2015). This study aims to see an overview of employee motivation at PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta. Participants consisted of 46 employees who filled out a work motivation questionnaire. The results of data processing show that 37.0% of employees working at PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta have work motivation and the remaining 58.7% have high work motivation. Based on the demographic aspect, it shows that work motivation has a significant effect on age and gender, meanwhile, last education, position, and length of work do not have a significant difference with the work motivation of PT Media Indonusa (Faspay) Jakarta employees. Suggestions that can be given are companies can increase motivational factors such as salaries, bonuses, benefits, and a clear career path. In addition, employees need to maintain the work motivation that they already have and can increase their work motivation by knowing their abilities and desires at work.
