Abstract
Sumber Daya Manusia merupakan kunci pokok yang memiliki peran penting dalam suatu lembaga, oleh karena itu setiap lembaga pasti mengharapkan agar pegawainya memiliki kinerja yang baik. Salah satu hal yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai yaitu dengan adanya kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh pegawai itu sendiri. Karena semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai, maka pegawai dinilai akan semakin loyal terhadap lembaga kerjanya dan juga semakin baik performa kerja pegawai tersebut. Kepuasan kerja dinilai dengan alat ukur Job Description index (JDI) yang dibuat oleh Smith, Kendal & Hulin (1969), yang sudah diadaptasi kedalam bahasa Indoneisa. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai BKPSDM yaitu dalam kategori sedang, dengan presentase sebanyak 81.8%.
