Abstract

The purpose of this research study is to discover the condition of the employee engagement, job satisfaction and how employee engagement affects job satisfaction at CV. Damai Indah. The method used in this research is causal quantitative research with simple linear regression analysis. For this study, the author uses census sampling in CV. Damai Indah with 60 respondents out of 60 total populations. The research result found out that the employee engagement and job satisfaction is in good condition with grand mean of 4.19 and 4.10. The result of this research shows that there is significant positive effect between employee engagement and job satisfaction based on the data using the significance level of 0.05 with t table value of 1.67155. The t result of this research is 6.926 which is higher than the t table with significance value of 0.000. Employee engagement affects the job satisfaction by 45.3% while the remaining 54.7% is affected by other factors outside employee engagement. / Tujuan dari penelitian tersebut adalah untuk mencari tahu tentang kondisi keterikatan karyawan, kepuasan pekerjaan serta bagaimana keterikatan karyawan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pekerjaan di CV. Damai Indah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kausal kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linear sederhana. Untuk penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode sensus sampling di CV. Damai Indah dengan 60 responden dari 60 total populasi. Dari penelitian tersebut ditemukan bahwa keterikatan karyawan dan kepuasan pekerjaan ada pada kondisi baik dengan total rata- rata 4.19 dan 4.10. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan positif antara keterikatan karyawan dan kepuasan pekerjaan berdasarkan data menggunakan levek signifikansi 0.05 dengan tabel t senilai 1.67155. Hasil dari t dari penelitian tersebut adalah 6.926 yang dimana memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi dari tabel t dengan level signifikansi 0.000. Keterikatan karyawan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pekerjaan hingga 45.3% dimana sisa 54.7% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain diluar keterikatan karyawan.
