Abstract

This research was conducted PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. This study is to analyze if leadership has an influence on employees’ job satisfaction PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. The theory used in this study is related to the theory of leadership and job satisfaction. Darodjat (2015,p.338), there are five practices that underlie leaders who have superior leadership qualities, namely leaders who challenge the process, recommendations inspiring shared insights, ask for help from others, able to be a guide and motivate subordinates. Hasibuan (2016,p. 202), job satisfaction indicators are only measured by discipline, work morale and turnover is small. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population amounted to 128 employees and sample in the study amounted to 97 employees. This study uses a simple random sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The R value of 0.605 indicates a high relationship between leadership and job satisfaction variables. The R square number is 0.366 or 36.6%. This shows that the presentation of the contribution of the influence of leadership on job satisfaction is 36.6%. This means that the independent variable is able to explain 36.6% of the dependent variable while the remaining 63.4% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the model..The value of significant 0.000 <0.05, then hypothesis is accepted, the meaning leadership influence job satisfaction at PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. The conclusion in this study that there is the leadership influence job satisfaction at PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan./Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. Dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori kepemimpinan pe dan kepuasan kerja. Darodjat (2015, p.338), terdapat lima praktik yang mendasari pemimpin yang memiliki kualitas kepemimpinan yang unggul yaitu pemimpin yang menantang proses, rekomendasi inspirasi berbagi wawasan, meminta bantuan orang lain, mampu menjadi pembimbing dan memotivasi bawahan Hasibuan ( 2016, hlm. 202), indikator kepuasan kerja hanya diukur dari Disiplin, Semangat Kerja dan Turnover yang kecil Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Populasi berjumlah 128 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 97 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel untuk diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Nilai R sebesar 0,605 menunjukkan hubungan yang tinggi antara variabel kepemimpinan dan kepuasan kerja. Angka persegi R adalah 0,366 atau 36,6%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyajian kontribusi pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah 36,6%. Artinya variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 36.6% variabel dependen sedangkan sisanya 63,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model..Nilai signifikan 0,000 <0,05, maka hipotesis diterima, artinya kepemimpinan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja pada PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT Bukit Intan Abadi Medan.
