Abstract

The world’s economy has experienced a transition with the presence of what is known as digital economy, the Don Tappscots. With the help of internet, this digital economy transforms the purchase habits of people all around the world as well as Indonesians. The presence of technology especially the Grab-Food delivery services help culinary entrepreneurs to increase sales by expanding the business scope to the widest possible access without big costs. Online food delivery services (independent variable) typically operate as intermediaries between customers and food outlets that influence the increasing Sales (dependent variable) of culinary entrepreneurs where sales is a set of activities related to the movement of items in the form of goods or services from the creator to the end user which clearly involve all activities prior to and after the goods or services are distributed. This research was conducted on Culinary Entrepreneurs registered with Grab-Food in Medan and aims to examine the effect of Food Delivery Services on Increasing Sales of Culinary Entrepreneurs. The writer use quantitative method and purposive sampling where all of the Medan Culinary Entrepreneurs registered with Grab-Food as the population and 50 respondents. This study uses primary data sources from questionnaires that were distributes to the Culinary Entrepreneurs registered with Grab-Food in Medan. The result of the data analysis shows that the coefficient of determination test is 68.7% of increasing sales of culinary entrepreneurs product is influenced by Grab-Food Delivery services. Then the hypothesis z-test results show that the Zcount value obtained is 5.803 which is greater than the value of Ztable (1.96). This means that the hypothesis alternative (Ha) that stated Food Delivery Services does have significant effect on Increasing Sales of Culinary Entrepreneurs registered at Grab-Food Medan is accepted. Meanwhile, hyphotesis null (Ho) is rejected./Perekonomian dunia telah mengalami transisi dengan hadirnya apa yang dikenal sebagai ekonomi digital, Don Tappscots. Dengan bantuan internet, ekonomi digital ini mengubah kebiasaan pembelian orang-orang di seluruh dunia termasuk orang Indonesia. Kehadiran teknologi khususnya layanan pesan antar Grab-Food membantu para pengusaha kuliner meningkatkan penjualan dengan memperluas cakupan bisnis hingga akses seluas-luasnya tanpa biaya besar. Jasa pesan antar makanan online (variabel bebas) beroperasi sebagai perantara antara pelanggan dan gerai makanan yang mempengaruhi Peningkatan Penjualan (variabel terikat) pengusaha kuliner dimana penjualan adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pergerakan barang atau jasa dari pencipta hingga pengguna akhir yang secara jelas melibatkan semua kegiatan sebelum dan sesudah barang atau jasa didistribusikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Pengusaha Kuliner yang terdaftar di Grab- Food di Medan dan bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Food Delivery Services terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan Pengusaha Kuliner. Penulis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan purposive sampling dimana seluruh Pengusaha Kuliner Medan yang terdaftar di Grab-Food sebagai populasi dan 50 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada Pengusaha Kuliner yang terdaftar di Grab-Food di Medan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 68,7% peningkatan penjualan produk pengusaha kuliner dipengaruhi oleh layanan Grab-Food Delivery. Kemudian hasil uji hipotesis z menunjukkan bahwa nilai Zhitung yang diperoleh sebesar 5,803 yang lebih besar dari nilai Ztabel (1,96). Hal ini berarti hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Food Delivery Services terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan Pengusaha Kuliner yang terdaftar di Grab-Food Medan diterima. Sedangkan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak.
