Abstract

This research purpose is to analyze the conditions of employee competencies also the employee job performance and the influence of employee competencies towards employee job performance at PT Securindo Siddhi Prathama. Competencies are frequently used as the foundation for skill standards that define the amount of knowledge, skills, and abilities required for workplace performance. Employee performance is a set of activities that was done to achieve the company’s goal regarding the task with certain standards. This research is using Quantitative Associative approach and also SPSS program to determine test results on the research data. The research instrument that was used is questionnaire that was distributed to 66 respondents or sample using the Slovin’s formula, 30 respondents was used to test the validity and reliability of the data. The simple random sampling method was used in this research as the sampling design. This study uses simple linear regression with the equation of Y= 22.850+0.255X and the coefficient of determination value of 0.076 or 7.6% as a tool for data analysis. The grand mean of employee competencies, 3.78 and the grand mean of employee performance, 3.82. The significance value of the tcount is 2.292 that is greater than the t-table result which is 1.997. The result of this research is that there is a positive correlation between employee competencies and employee job performance. The findings on this research emphasize on the indicators of competencies, the employees are mastering the work and the equipment and for the performance indicators, the help from the leaders that often give feedback on the results completed./ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi kompetensi karyawan serta prestasi kerja karyawan dan pengaruh kompetensi karyawan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT Securindo Siddhi Prathama. Kompetensi sering digunakan sebagai dasar untuk standar keterampilan yang menentukan jumlah pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan untuk kinerja di tempat kerja. Kinerja karyawan adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan mengenai tugas dengan standar tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Quantitative Associative dan juga program SPSS untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian terhadap data penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 66 responden atau sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, digunakan 30 responden untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas data. Metode sampling acak sederhana digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai desain pengambilan sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan persamaan Y= 22.850+0.255X dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,076 atau 7,6% sebagai alat analisis data. Rerata besar kompetensi karyawan 3,78 dan rerata kinerja karyawan 3,82. Nilai signifikansi thitung sebesar 2,292 lebih besar dari hasil t tabel sebesar 1,997. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hubungan positif antara kompetensi pegawai dengan prestasi kerja pegawai. Temuan penelitian ini menekankan bahwa sesuai dengan indikator kompetensi, karyawan menguasai pekerjaan dan peralatan dan untuk indikator kinerja, bantuan dari pemimpin yang sering memberikan umpan balik atas hasil yang diselesaikan.
