Abstract

HIV/AIDS merupakan penyakit yang telah menjadi salah satu beban kesehatan di dunia. Antiretroviral memiliki fungsi untuk mencegah progresi dari penyakit HIV dengan cara supresi dari virus HIV tersebut sehingga kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan ARV bersifat sangat penting untuk kesehatan dari ODHA. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, didapatkan bahwa ODHA yang menderita depresi bersifat tidak patuh terhadap pengobatan ARV dibandingkan dengan ODHA tanpa depresi. Tetapi, di Indonesia, terutama Jakarta sendiri belum terdapat begitu banyak penelitian yang meneliti mengenai hubungan antara depresi dengan kepatuhan pengobatan ARV pada ODHA sehingga peneliti ingin meneliti mengenai topik tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara depresi dengan kepatuhan pengobatan antiretroviral pada pasien HIV di Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Lippo Village. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan dengan desain studi cross-sectional atau potong lintang. Pengambilan data akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner PHQ-9 dan MMAS-8 pada 39 pasien HIV di poliklinik penyakit dalam di Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Lippo Village. Data kemudian akan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 23. Dari 34 sampel yang terkumpul, 17 pasien menderita depresi sedangkan 17 pasien tidak mengalami depresi. 19 pasien bersifat tidak patuh terhadap pengobatan ARV dan 15 pasien bersifat patuh terhadap pengobatan ARV. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara depresi dengan kepatuhan pengobatan antiretroviral (p value = 0,038) dengan OR 5,958 (95% CI = 1,332-26,662)./HIV/AIDS is a disease that has became a global health burden. Antiretroviral functions to prevent the progression of the HIV disease by suppressing the HIV virus itself which shows the importance of adherence to ARV medication for the health of PLWHA. According to previous studies, it is found that PLWHA that is suffering from depression shows non-adherence towards ARV medication compared with PLWHA without depression. However, there are still too little studies that actually research about the association between depression and adherence to antiretroviral medication in PLWHA in Jakarta, Indonesia, which pushes the researcher to do a study about this topic. The aim of this study is to discover the association between depression and adherence to antiretroviral medication in HIV patients at Siloam General Hospital Lippo Village. This study is an unpaired analytical comparative categoric study with a cross-sectional study design. Data will be collected from 39 HIV patients in the Internal Medicine Polyclinic in Siloam General Hospital Lippo Village by using the questionnaires PHQ-9 and MMAS-8. Data will then be analyzed using SPSS 23. Among 34 samples that were collected, 17 patients were depressed while 17 patients were not depressed. 19 patients were not adherent to ARV medication and 15 patients were adherent to ARV medication. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant association between depression and adherence to antiretroviral medication (p value = 0,038) with OR 5,958 (95% CI = 1,332-26,662).
