Abstract

Akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang menuntut pembelajaran dilaksanakan di rumah membuat interaksi siswa terbatas. Hal ini menyebabkan rasa ketidakpedulian siswa meningkat karena tidak memperhatikan satu sama lain dan tidak memberi respon pada saat pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya upaya yang dilakukan guru, yaitu menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok, sehingga diharapkan metode ini akan membantu siswa untuk dapat berelasi dan membangun sebuah komunitas belajar. Tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah menggambarkan penggunaan metode diskusi kelompok dalam membangun komunitas belajar selama pembelajaran daring. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Manusia pada dasarnya perlu berelasi, karena sama seperti Allah pencipta kita yang juga berelasi. Tuhan memiliki tiga pribadi namun satu esensi. Melalui langkah-langkah metode diskusi, seperti menjelaskan topik dan pembagian kelompok, siswa menjadi sadar akan relasi. Pada saat proses diskusi kelompok berlangsung hingga menerima umpan balik, membentuk indikator-indikator komunitas belajar yang lain, seperti berani menyampaikan dan menerima pendapat, saling peduli satu dengan yang lain serta saling melengkapi sehingga komunitas belajar dapat terbentuk secara utuh. Saran penulis kepada pembaca dan penelitian selanjutnya ialah guru harus memastikan informasi yang diberikan dipahami oleh siswa sehingga diskusi berjalan dengan baik dan tidak ada miskomunikasi antara harapan guru dengan yang dilakukan siswa./ Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which requires learning to be carried out at home, student interaction is limited. This causes the students' sense of indifference to increase because they do not pay attention to each other and do not respond during learning. Therefore, there needs to be an effort made by the teacher, namely using the group discussion method, so it is hoped that this method will help students to relate and build a learning community. The purpose of this paper is to describe the use of group discussion methods in building a learning community during distance learning. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. Humans basically need to be related, because just like Allah, our creator, they are also related. God has three persons but one essence. Through the steps of the discussion method, such as explaining the topic and dividing the group, students become aware of relationships. During the group discussion process, they receive feedback, from other learning community indicators, such as being brave in expressing and accepting opinions, caring for one another, and complementing each other so that the learning community can be formed as a whole. The author's suggestion to readers and further research is that the teacher must ensure that the information provided is understood by the students so that the discussion goes well and there is no miscommunication between the teacher's expectations and what the students do.
