Abstract

Teacher is the one of the school’s most important asset for its role as the subject of implementing the good education. The source of good education system includes the involvement of high qualified teachers. A high working performance of teacher is assessed by Teacher’s Performance Report to maintain the standard of the teachers consistently. Teacher’s performance is related to many factors, including transformational leadership, work engagement, and commitment organizational. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership, work engagement, and commitment organizational on performance of the teachers. The research subjects were 51 teachers who teach in Global Prestasi Elementary School which located in West Bekasi, where the performance was identified in the employees. The design used in this study was path analysis with a quantitative approach. The results showed that transformational leadership influenced positively to work engagement, work engagement influenced positively to teacher’s performance, and transformational leadership influenced positively commitment organizational. However, commitment organizational and transformational leadership do not positively influence teacher’s performance. / Guru adalah salah satu aset yang teramat penting dalam menerapkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Sumber dari sistem pendidikan melibatkan guruguru yang berkualitas. Kinerja Guru yang diukur dengan penilaian kinerja adalah untuk menjaga standar kualitas guru secara konsisten. Kinerja Guru tersebut berkaitan dengan banyak faktor, diantaranya kepemimpinan transformasional, work engagement, dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, work engagement, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja guru di SD Global Prestasi School. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 51 guru yang mengajar di sebuah Sekolah Dasar Swasta Global Prestasi School di Bekasi, dimana teridentifikasi kinerja guru di dalamnya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memengaruhi work engagement secara positif, work engagement memengaruhi kinerja guru secara positif, kepemimpinan transformasional memengaruhi komitmen organisasi secara positif. Namun, komitmen organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional tidak memengaruhi tidak memengaruhi kinerja guru secara positif.
