Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan dari suatu sekolah sangat ditentukan tidak hanya dari kinerjanya tapi juga dari komitmen tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan kepada organisasi tempatnya bekerja. Sayangnya banyak sekolah yang mengalami permasalahan dalam membangun komitmen di organisasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya kerja, iklim sekolah dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dalam kaitannya dengan komitmen guru di Sekolah Mutiara Nusantara. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar di Sekolah Mutiara Nusantara yang berada di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya kerja sekolah berpengaruh lemah positif terhadap komitmen guru. Namun budaya kerja berpengaruh moderat positif terhadap gaya kepemimpinan seorang Kepala Sekolah. Ditemukan juga bahwa iklim sekolah memiliki pengaruh moderat positif terhadap komitmen guru dan gaya kepemimpinan tansformasional seorang Kepala Sekolah. Lebih jauh lagi, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional seorang Kepala Sekolah dapat memberikan pengaruh lemah positif terhadap komitmen guru di sekolah itu / The quality of education in a school is really determined not only by the teachers’ and administrators’ performance but also by their commitment to the organization. Unfortunately, many schools now a day are dealing with difficulties to build their employees’ commitment to their organization. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of school culture, school climate and the transformational leadership style on the teachers’ commitment in Mutiara Nusantara School. The population of this research is all of the teachers who teach in Mutiara Nusantara School that is located in Bandung. The result of the research shows that school culture has a positive weak correlation on teachers’ commitment. However, it has a positive moderate correlation on the principal’s transformational leadership style. It is also found that school climate has a positive moderate correlation on the teachers’ commitment and also on the transformational leadership. Furthermore, we can also see how the transformational leadership has given a positive weak correlation on the teachers’ commitment in the school
