Abstract

Referensi: 82 (1977-2021) / Ericko Grady (01011180249) Cognitive, Affective, and Desire Factors in Predicting Domestic Travel Intention: Application of the Model of Goal-Directed Behavior (XVIII + 162 pages: 14 figures; 32 tables; 17 appendices) Intention is defined as how hard a person is willing to try and how determined a person is to act. Therefore, the intention to visit is the willingness of tourists to visit a destination. This study was conducted to understand the phenomenon of the decline in the number of visits by domestic tourists. The aim of this study is to build upon the adoption of theories and models to explore the interrelationships between attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, positively anticipated emotions, negatively anticipated emotions, desires and intentions. This study uses quantitative methods and data collection techniques by distributing electronic questionnaires using a non-probability sampling method, namely, purposive sampling. The samples taken for this study were 209 respondents. The data were obtained and analyzed using PLS-Structural Equation Modeling with the SmartPLS 3 analysis tool. In this study, there were eight hypotheses and two of them were not supported. This research provides theoretical implications, managerial implications, and suggestions for further research. Keyword: attitude, subjective norm, perceive behavioral control, positive anticipated emotion, negative anticipated emotion, desire, intention. Reference: 82 (1977-2021)
