Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada siswa TK A di ACS Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan yang dialami peneliti saat mengajarkan sikap peduli pada pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Sikap peduli ini termasuk di dalam 18 sikap pendidikan karakter bangsa, dimana siswa masih belum mampu memperlihatkan sikap-sikap yang sesuai dengan indikator perkembangan anak usia 4-5 tahun pada Kurikulum PAUD 2013. Untuk mendukung proses ini, peneliti menggunakan film cerita pendek berupa film-film pendek animasi untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep sikap peduli tersebut dengan lebih cepat dan juga mendorong motivasi dan konsentrasi siswa di dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa dilihat dari hasil analisis rubrik observasi yang digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitiannya, menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan. Siswa mampu memperlihatkan sikap dan perilaku yang sesuai dengan indikator perkembangan yang diharapkan. Dengan menggunakan film cerita pendek pada setiap awal pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan sikap peduli dengan hasil skor (80,7), motivasi belajar(83,3) dan konsentrasi belajar(82,3) pada akhir siklus 3 / This research is a classroom action research which is undertaken to KA Yellow students at ACS Kindergarten. This research is done based on a hindrance faced by the researcher when teaching caring trait during Citizenship lessons. As one of the 18 national character traits, our young students are still not able to perform and show the desired behaviors as prescribed in the National Curriculum for Early Childhood 2013. Nor can they show a sustained motivation and better concentration in class. In order to achieve the goal, the researcher used short films in the forms of short animated films to help the students understand better, be more motivated and have better concentration during lessons. The research showed a positive result which can be seen from the observational rubrics used as the instruments. The students are able to perform and show the desired behaviors as prescribed above. With the use of short films in the beginning of each lesson, it has improved the students’ caring trait with the score(80,7), motivation in learning(83,3) and concentration in learning(82,3) in the last cycle
