Abstract

Pelaksanaan perkuliahan di masa pandemi COVID-19 sudah berjalan selama lebih dari setahun, namun berbagai hambatan dan kendala masih dirasakan oleh mahasiswa. Kendala tersebut dapat memengaruhi proses pembelajaran dan menyebabkan stres akademik pada mahasiswa. Dalam mengatasi stres akademik yang dialami, mahasiswa membutuhkan grit untuk dapat bertahan dalam kondisi perkuliahan yang sulit. Grit membantu mahasiswa untuk dapat terus bekerja keras agar mampu mencapai tujuan yang dimiliki. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menemukan adanya korelasi negatif antara stres akademik dan grit pada mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk melihat lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh grit terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas X di masa pandemi. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Universitas X yang menjalani Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh dimasa pandemi (N=122). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa grit berpengaruh terhadap tingkat stres akademik mahasiswa (R2=.231, p=.000). / The implementation of lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic has been running for more than a year, but various obstacles are still felt by students. These constraints can affect the learning process and cause academic stress in students. To overcome the academic stress, students need grit to be able to survive in difficult lecture conditions. Grit helps students to continue work hard in order to achieve their goals. Previous study has found a negative correlation between academic stress and grit in college students. Therefore, this quantitative study was conducted to look further at the influence of grit on academic stress in X University students during the pandemic. Participants in this study were students at university X who underwent Distance Learning during the pandemic (N =122). The results showed that grit had a significant effect on student’s academic stress (R2=.231, p=.000).
