Abstract
Terdapat sebuah konflik kelas sosial yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana representasi kelas sosial yang direpresentasikan dalam sebuah film “Crazy Rich Asians”. Untuk mengetahui persoalan konflik kelas sosial tersebut secara menyeluruh dan mendalam dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian analisis teks dari media berupa scene dalam film untuk memberikan data dan fakta. Kemudian data tersebut dianalisis secara kritis dengan teori semiotika Roland Barthes. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Pembedaan ini terjadi karena dalam anggota masyarakat dilihat berdasarkan status sosial dimana anggota masyarakat dibeda-bedakan berdasarkan
