Abstract

Lingkungan kerja yang memadai dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Sebaliknya lingkungan kerja yang tidak memadai dapat menurunkan kinerja karyawan dan bahkan menurunkan motivasi kerja karyawan. PT Naval Tiara Abadi adalah perusahaan yang memiliki pabrik roti hoya bakery. PT Naval Tiara Abadi memiliki lingkungan kerja yang cukup padat dengan banyak rak roti kosong yang digunakan untuk memindahkan roti atau adonan roti yang menghalangi jalan sehingga karyawan-karyawan mengalami kesulitan untuk melintasi jalan pada lintasan produksi. Oleh karena itu, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang produk berupa rak roti yang dapat disimpan tanpa memerlukan tempat yang luas dengan menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Data yang diperoleh untuk membuat rak didapatkan dari manajer perusahaan. Sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen yaitu rak harus memiliki roda yang kuat, pegangan yang nyaman, rak mampu menahan berat loyang berserta isinya, rak mampu menampung jumlah loyang yang banyak, rak tahan lama, penahan loyang yang kuat, dan rak yang mudah disimpan bila tidak digunakan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, didapatkan tiga alternatif sesuai dengan kriteria roda, kawat las, design rak, penahan loyang, dan engsel. Alternatif yang dipilih dengan roda karet hidup, kawat las Nikko steel RD-460, kerangka rak yang dilipat, siku besi sebagai penahan loyang, dan engsel bubut. Dengan dibuatnya kriteria tersebut, dapat dihemat luas sebesar 25,704 m2 sedangkan rak yang digunakan sebelumnya menghemat luas hanya sebesar 14,504 m2. / An adequate work environment can improve employee performance. On the other hand, an inadequate work environment can reduce employee performance and even reduce employee motivation. PT Naval Tiara Abadi is a company that owns a factory called hoya bakery. has a fairly congested work environment with many empty bread racks used to move bread or bread dough blocking the road so that employees have difficulty crossing the road on the production line. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design a product in the form of a bread rack that can be stored without requiring a large space by using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The data obtained to make the shelves are obtained from company managers. According to consumer needs, the shelf must have strong wheels, a comfortable handle, the shelf can withstand the weight of the pan and its contents, the shelf can accommodate a large number of pans, durable shelf, strong tin holder, and a shelf that is easy to store when not in use. Based on this, three alternatives were obtained according to the criteria for wheels, welding wire, rack design, pan holders, and hinges. Selected alternative with live rubber wheels, Nikko steel RD-460 welding wire, collapsible rack frame, iron elbows for pan holders, and lathe hinges. With the creation of these criteria, an area of 25,704 m2 can be saved, while the previously used shelves only saved 14,504 m2 of area.
