Abstract

Produk face sanitizer merupakan produk yang penting mengingat higienitas daerah wajah yaitu tempat virus masuk perlu sangat dijaga di masa pandemi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan perancangan dan pengembangan produk face sanitizer menggunakan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) sehingga higienitas daerah wajah dapat lebih terjaga khususnya di masa pandemi. Batasan dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian dilakukan pada fase 0, 1, dan 2 saja karena biaya yang terbatas untuk melakukan produksi produk. Setiap fase pada penelitian ini menghasilkan output masing-masing. Fase 0 menghasilkan sebuah pernyataan misi untuk produk face sanitizer yang berguna untuk menjaga higienitas wajah dari virus tanpa membuat wajah kering khususnya untuk wanita Generasi Z dan Milenial yang harus melakukan aktivitas di luar rumah dan sadar akan higienitas. Fase 1 menghasilkan tiga alternatif konsep untuk face sanitizer berdasarkan House of Quality dan Part Deployment. Lalu, 3 penilai berhasil menentukan alternatif konsep yang terbaik yaitu alternatif 1 dengan tipe antiseptik Asam Hipoklorit (HOCl), tipe pelembap Asam Hialuronat (Hyaluronic Acid), dan bahan kemasan Akrilonitril Butadiena Stirena (ABS). Terakhir, fase 2 menghasilkan spesifikasi produk beserta nilai target secara detail berdasarkan HOWs, gambar teknik produk, dan alur proses produksi dengan durasi 5 bulan pada Vendor X. / Face sanitizer products are important considering the hygiene of the facial area, where the virus enters, needs to be highly guarded during the pandemic. The purpose of this research is to design and develop face sanitizer products using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) so that facial area hygiene can be maintained, especially during the pandemic. The limitation of this research is that the research was conducted in phases 0, 1, and 2 only because of the limited cost to produce the product. Each phase in this research produces its own output. Phase 0 produces a mission statement for a face sanitizer product that is useful for maintaining facial hygiene from viruses without making the face dry, especially for Generation Z and Millennial women who have to do activities outside the home and are aware of hygiene. Phase 1 produces three alternative concepts for face sanitizers based on the House of Quality and Part Deployment. Then, 3 assessors succeeded in determining the best alternative concept, namely alternative 1 with antiseptic type Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), moisturizing type Hyaluronic Acid, and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) packaging material. Finally, phase 2 produces product specifications along with detailed target values based on HOWs, product technical drawings, and production process flow with a duration of 5 months at Vendor X.
