Abstract

Knowledge sharing behavior or knowledge sharing can be used as a strategy by schools to help teachers improve their performance with their abilities. In practice in schools, the principal plays an important role in implementing or facilitating knowledge sharing behavior. The practice of knowledge sharing behavior can run well, if the principal is able to carry out his role well. This research was conducted in a private school in Jakarta with a case study approach. Interviews were conducted to find out the point of view of teachers and school principals on knowledge-sharing behavior and to see whether crisis situations affect knowledge-sharing behavior. In the study, it was found that schools have implemented knowledge sharing behavior, but they have not been managed properly. The study also found differences in knowledge-sharing behavior before the pandemic and the pandemic situation. Teachers realize that knowledge-sharing behavior helps them adapt to new situations, especially during the pandemic crisis, but it requires supporting factors such as people, culture, and leadership from the school principal. The findings of this study will help implement knowledge sharing behavior in schools. / Perilaku berbagi pengetahuan atau knowledge sharing dapat digunakan sebagai strategi oleh sekolah untuk menolong para guru dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Dalam praktiknya di sekolah, kepala sekolah memegang peranan penting dalam melaksanakan atau pun memfasilitasi perilaku berbagi pengetahuan. Praktik perilaku berbagi pengetahuan bisa berjalan dengan baik, jika kepala sekolah mampu menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu sekolah swasta di Jakarta dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Wawancara dilakukan untuk mengetahui sudut pandang guru dan kepala sekolah tentang perilaku berbagi pengetahuan serta melihat apakah situasi krisis berpengaruh pada perilaku berbagi pengetahuan. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa sekolah sudah menjalankan perilaku berbagi pengetahuan, hanya saja belum dikelola dengan baik. Dalam penelitian juga ditemukan adanya perbedaan perilaku berbagi pengetahuan pada saat sebelum masa pandemi dan situasi pandemi. Guru-guru menyadari bahwa perilaku berbagi pengetahuan membantu mereka dalam beradaptasi pada situasi yang baru, terkhusus pada masa krisis pandemi, tetapi dibutuhkan faktor-faktor pendukung seperti manusia, budaya, dan kepemimpinan dari kepala sekolah. Temuan dari penelitian ini akan membantu implementasi perilaku berbagi pengetahuan di sekolah.
