Abstract

Human resources are considered as important as it contributes an important role in assuring employee satisfaction, develop business productivity and performance. It can also provide the organization with a clear vision of competitive advantage and contribute affectively to the organizational success in general. Employee Performance is believed to be connected with Job Satisfaction and Motivation. The objective of this research is to find out whether Job Satisfaction and Motivation have influence toward Employee Performance. Employee performance is described as the quality and quantity of work completed by an employee in accomplishing the task for which they are accountable, and employee performance has the potential to influence an organization's output. Job satisfaction is a state in which employees are relieved, pleased, and passionate about their jobs because the circumstances and working conditions satisfy their requirements, wants, and expectations. Motivation is described as a driving force that pushes someone to accomplish something in order to achieve the desired outcomes or goals. The research is using quantitative and correlational research approaches to analyze a sample of 36 employees. Using IBM SPSS 25 application where the population size is 160 by using Stratified Sampling which will divide the population into subpopulation that has same specific characters (Job title: Courier and its subordinates) in which the sample will be 36 employees. The data analysis method of the research uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The result of the final research paper from F-test finds out that Job Satisfaction and Motivation have influence toward Employee Performance at PT Tirna Sumber Menaralestari, Medan. Based on the results of the F-test has a value of 0.000 < 0.05. Partial t-test result shows that Job Satisfaction has significant influence toward Employee Performance. As well as Motivation has significant influence toward Employee Performance. Based on the results of the t-test has a value significance of 0.000 < 0.05 for Job Satisfaction and 0.002 < 0.05 for Motivation. However, Job Satisfaction shows stronger influence to Employee Performance compared to Motivation/Sumber daya manusia dianggap penting karena memberikan kontribusi peran penting dalam menjamin kepuasan karyawan, mengembangkan produktivitas dan kinerja bisnis. Ini juga dapat memberi organisasi visi yang jelas tentang keunggulan kompetitif dan berkontribusi secara efektif terhadap keberhasilan organisasi secara umum. Kinerja Karyawan diyakini berhubungan dengan Kepuasan Kerja dan Motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Kepuasan Kerja dan Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Kinerja karyawan digambarkan sebagai kualitas dan kuantitas pekerjaan yang diselesaikan oleh seorang karyawan dalam menyelesaikan tugas yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya, dan kinerja karyawan memiliki potensi untuk mempengaruhi output organisasi. Kepuasan kerja adalah keadaan di mana karyawan merasa lega, senang, dan bersemangat tentang pekerjaan mereka karena keadaan dan kondisi kerja memenuhi persyaratan, keinginan, dan harapan mereka. Motivasi digambarkan sebagai daya penggerak yang mendorong seseorang untuk mencapai sesuatu guna mencapai hasil atau tujuan yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan korelasional dengan menganalisis sampel sebanyak 36 karyawan. Menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS 25 dimana ukuran populasinya adalah 160 dengan menggunakan Stratified Sampling yang akan membagi populasi menjadi subpopulasi yang memiliki karakter spesifik yang sama (Kurir) dimana sampelnya adalah 36 karyawan. Metode analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian tugas akhir dari uji-F menemukan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja dan Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Tirna Sumber Menaralestari Medan. Berdasarkan hasil uji F memiliki nilai 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil uji t parsial menunjukkan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Serta Motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 untuk Kepuasan Kerja dan 0,002 < 0,05 untuk Motivasi. Namun Kepuasan Kerja menunjukkan pengaruh yang lebih kuat terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dibandingkan dengan Motivasi.
