Abstract

Program relawan pajak telah diadakan oleh DJP untuk mengajak mahasiswa untuk berpartispasi aktif dalam menggalakan kesadaran membayar pajak masyarakat Indonesia. Selain itu, program relawan pajak ini berguna untuk melatih mahasiwa mengasah kemampuan untuk mempraktikan mata kuliah perpajakan secara langsung. Di sisi lain, program ini juga menjadi alat bagi DJP untuk mesosialisasikan kesadaran pajak kepada para generasi muda khususnya mahasiswa, yang kelak akan menjadi wajib pajak ketika sudah memiliki penghasilan tetap. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Selain itu, Penelitian ini juga merupakan penelitian primer yang dimana penelitian ini akan menggunakan survei berupa kuesioner. Populasi yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Mahasiswa Relawan Pajak yang berada di Surabaya pada tahun 2017 hingga 2021. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling, dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh relawan pajak dan sosialisasi pajak berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan perpajakan pada mahasiswa/The Tax Volunteer Program initiated by the Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) aims to invite students to actively participate in promoting awareness of paying taxes for Indonesians. Besides, this tax program is useful for training students to update their skills to directly practice tax courses. Furthermore, this program is also a tool for DJP to socialize tax awareness to the younger generation, especially students, who will become taxpayers when they have a fixed income. This quantitative study used a descriptive approach. Besides, this primary study used a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The population determined in this study were students who participated in the Tax Volunteer Program in Surabaya from 2017 to 2021. The sample was determined using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that tax volunteers and tax socialization have an impact on students’ tax knowledge.
