Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the hobby of making ceramics become one of the hobbies that are in demand in Indonesia. This makes a potential for development in ceramic techniques, such as impressing. Impressing is commonly used in pottery, but it is still rare to find a seller of these tools in Indonesia. The exploration starts from experiments with commonly used stamp materials such as wood, bisque, and 3d printed PLA. The objective is to find the best materials and the most efficient stamp production. After that, the study was followed by interviews, surveys, trend analysis, and QFD. This study resulted in a collection of stamp products that have passed several experiments and several collections of ceramic products. Although the impressing techniques are commonly used, there are still many ways of production, materials, and types of tools that can be explored.
