Abstract

Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara yang begitu kaya, baik itu pada alamnya dan budayanya. Namun, sayangnya pada saat ini masih sedikit sekali kekayaan yang dimiliki negeri ini yang belum diketahui oleh dunia luar. Khususnya, di bagian budayanya. Ditambah dengan keberadaan arus globalisasi yang begitu dahsyat pada saat ini sehingga membuat eksistensi kebudayaan kita sendiri perlahan semakin memudar. Pada perancangan proyek tugas akhir ini akan membuat visualisasi konsep untuk permainan video Falling Apart: Revive, yang di dalam perancangannya sendiri mengusung tema negeri distopia Post Apocalyptic yang kemudian dipadukan dengan kebudayaan Indonesia di masa Modern. Di dalam perancangannya, metode yang dipergunakan ialah analisis data yang di dapat dari sumber buku elektronik, jurnal, makalah akademik dan website akademik. Hasil perancangan karya tugas akhir ini adalah buku konsep visual untuk permainan video berdasarkan kisah fiksi Falling Apart: Revive. Sebagai landasan arahan visual buku konsep ini, penulis menggunakan (1) Anachronistic yang mengacu pada ketidakterikatan dengan waktu atau era tertentu, (2) Distress yang mengarah pada suatu tema yang menunjukkan situasi yang sulit dan keterpurukan (suram), dan (3) Adventure yang banyak memperlihatkan penjelajahan ke berbagai area yang ada pada dunianya. / Indonesia is a country that is very rich, both in nature and culture. However, unfortunately at this time there is still very little wealth owned by this country that is not yet known by the outside world. In particular, in the cultural section. Coupled with the existence of a current of globalization that is so powerful at this time that it makes the existence of our own culture slowly fade away. In designing this final project, we will create a concept visualization for the video game Falling Apart: Revive, which in its design itself carries the theme of the Post Apocalyptic dystopia country which is then combined with Indonesian culture in the Modern era. In its design, the method used is data analysis obtained from sources of electronic books, journals, academic papers and academic websites. The result of this final project design is a visual concept book for a video game based on the fictional story Falling Apart: Revive. As a basis for the visual direction of this concept book, the author uses (1) Anachronistic which refers to detachment from a certain time or era, (2) Distress which leads to a theme that shows a difficult and downturn (gloomy) situation, and (3) Adventure which shows a lot of exploration to various areas in the world.
