Abstract

In order to achieve successful organizational performance, a good employee performance is needed to realize the vision and mission of an organization in the future so that employee performance must receive attention from company leaders. Factors that can affect employee performance include work discipline and work motivation. The aims of this research are: 1) To determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance, 2) To determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance, 3) To determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. The type of research used in this research is quantitative associative with the population is all employees of CV. Melati Glitz Decoration Medan as many as 56 people and the sample is a total population of 56 respondents. The results showed that: 1) there is an effect of work discipline on employee performance, 2) there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance, 3) there is an influence of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. Based on the results of the research, the suggestions submitted are: so that the company pays more attention to the needs of employees in accordance with the company's conditions to provide motivational encouragement in improving employee performance through the provision of bonuses, attention to employees who have good performance and always conduct performance evaluations to pay attention to worker discipline so that employees can carry out their duties in accordance with their respective responsibilities which in the end can also increase the company's income so that it can improve employee welfare./ Guna mencapai keberhasilan kinerja organisasi dibutuhkan kinerja seorang karyawan yang baik untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi suatu organisasi di masa yang akan datang sehingga kinerja karyawan harus mendapat perhatian dari para pimpinan perusahaan. Faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan diantaranya adalah displin kerja dan motivasi kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh displin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, 3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh displin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan populasi adalah seluruh karyawan CV. Melati Glitz Decoration Medan sebanyak 56 orang dan sampel merupakan total populasi yaitu 56 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) ada pengaruh displin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, 2) ada pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, 3) ada pengaruh displin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka saran yang disampaikan adalah : agar Perusahaan lebih memperhatikan kebutuhan karyawan sesuai dengan kondisi perusahaan untuk memberikan dorongan motivasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui pemberian bonus, perhatian terhadap karyawan yang memiliki kinerja yang baik dan selalu melakukan evaluasi kinerja untuk memperhatikan kedisplinan pekerja sehingga karyawan dapat melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya sesuai dengan tanggung jawab masing-masing yang pada akhirnya juga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan perusahaan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan.
