Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had many impacts, including financial problems. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to OVO application users in the field, the data obtained will then be calculated by testing reliability and validity. The sampling method used in this study is Purposive sampling. From the data that has been collected, it will be processed using the SPSS application which is tested with tests of normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. After that, the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis test, the coefficient of determination, and finally the hypothesis test consisted of the F test and T test. The purpose of this research is to find out whether financial technology affects the millennial generation's financial literacy, whether financial knowledge affects the millennial generation's financial literacy and its significance. In the results of the study, it was found that financial technology partially affects the millennial generation in the city of Medan in improving Financial Literacy based on the results of the T-Test hypothesis test with a significant value below 0.05, namely 0.029 and T-count(2.221) > T-table (1.984), Knowledge Finance partially has an influence on the millennial generation in the city of Medan in improving Financial Literacy based on the results of the T-Test hypothesis test with a significant value below 0.05, namely 0.000 and T-count (4,847) > T-table (1,984), and financial technology and financial knowledge simultaneously has an influence on the millennial generation in the city of Medan in improving Financial Literacy based on the results of the F-Test hypothesis test with a significant value below 0.05, namely 0.000 and F-count (27.259) > T-table (3.09)./ Pandemi covid-19 telah memberikan banyak dampak termasuk pada masalah finansial.
