Abstract

Human Resources Management (HRM) is a management function concerned with hiring, motivating and maintaining people in an organization. The decline in employee performance CV Harapan Raya Medan which can be seen from the diligence of employee has decreased so resulting in not being completed on time. A little provision of employee motivation can be seen from the provision of a few awards and absenteeism then the amount of work employees who resolved not timely. Motivation and work discipline have an important role in shaping employee performance. Motivation and work discipline are highly connected with employee performance and company profitability. This research was conducted using quantitative, descriptive, and causal. The total of population and sample is 34 employees through sensus sampling. Data is collected by distributing questionnaires, interview and documentation. The result of the T-test shows that motivation and work discipline have partially and simultaneously influence on employee performance at CV Harapan Raya Medan. Furthermore, motivation and work discipline have 44.5% influence on employee performance. This research also passed the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test and the equation is Employee Performance = 19.395 + 0.437 Work Motivation + 0.395 Work Discipline + e. Recommendations for the CV Harapan Raya Medan can be done on the basis of promoting positions by taking into account the level of performance and achievement of employee targets aimed at creating employee morale and disseminating clear company rules to employees and sanctions for violations of the rules that aim to make employees understand and know and apply well. In addition to employees who have a high level of discipline can give rewards to employees./ Manajemen sumber daya manusia (HRM) adalah fungsi manajemen yang berkaitan dengan perekrutan, memotivasi dan memelihara orang dalam suatu organisasi. Penurunan kinerja karyawan CV Harapan Raya Medan yang dapat dilihat dari ketekunan karyawan mengalami penurunan sehingga mengakibatkan tidak selesai tepat waktu. Sedikit pemberian motivasi karyawan dapat dilihat dari pemberian beberapa penghargaan dan absensi maka jumlah pekerjaan karyawan yang diselesaikan tidak tepat waktu. Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan. Motivasi dan Disiplin Kerja sangat berkaitan dengan kinerja karyawan dan profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, deskriptif, dan kausal. Jumlah populasi dan sampel adalah 34 karyawan melalui sensus sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil T-test menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan di CV Harapan Raya Medan. Selain itu, motivasi dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh sebesar 44,5% terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini juga lolos uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas , uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda dan persamaan kinerja karyawan = 19,395 + 0,437 Motivasi Kerja + 0,395 Disiplin Kerja + e. Rekomendasi untuk CV Harapan Raya Medan dapat dilakukan atas dasar promosi jabatan dengan memperhatikan tingkat kinerja dan pencapaian target karyawan yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan semangat kerja karyawan dan menyebarluaskan aturan perusahaan yang jelas kepada karyawan dan sanksi atas pelanggaran aturan yang bertujuan agar karyawan memahami dan mengetahui serta menerapkan dengan baik. Selain itu karyawan yang memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan yang tinggi dapat memberikan penghargaan kepada karyawan.
