Abstract

Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan experienced a decline in employee performance that can be seen from the data delay of employees due to competence and leadership. The aim of this research is to investigate Employee Competence and Leadership have affect on Employee Performance at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan. Competence and Leadership have an important role in shaping Employee Performance. Competence and Leadership are highly connected with Employee Performance and company profitability. In this research, the writer used quantitative research design and IBM SPSS statistics V.25. The writer used descriptive and causal approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The population will be 143 employees and sample size was 105 employees at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan. The result of hypothesis test, Competence and Leadership have an influence on Employee Performance, either partial or simultaneous. Furthermore, ser Competence and Leadership have 54.4% influence on Employee Performance. This research also passed the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test and the equation is Employee Performance = 10.481 + 0.456 Employee Competence + 0.249 Leadership. Recommendations for Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan include improve the structure of the position of employees who are placed back based on the ability and improved by providing job training related to leadership that aims to mobilize and direct employees well and can provide solutions to employees in facing job problems./ Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan mengalami penurunan kinerja karyawan yang dapat dilihat dari data keterlambatan karyawan akibat kompetensi dan kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi dan kepemimpinan karyawan yang berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Four Point oleh Sheraton Hotel Medan. Kompetensi dan kepemimpinan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan. Kompetensi dan kepemimpinan sangat terkait dengan kinerja karyawan dan profitabilitas perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dan IBM SPSS statistics V. 25. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan kausal. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Populasi akan menjadi 143 karyawan dan ukuran sampel adalah 105 karyawan di Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan. Hasil uji hipotesis, kompetensi dan kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, baik parsial maupun simultan. Selanjutnya, kompetensi dan kepemimpinan ser memiliki pengaruh sebesar 54,4% terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini juga lolos uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas , uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda dan persamaan kinerja karyawan = 10,481 + 0,456 kompetensi karyawan + 0,249 kepemimpinan. Rekomendasi untuk Four Point oleh Sheraton Hotel Medan antara lain memperbaiki struktur posisi karyawan yang ditempatkan kembali berdasarkan kemampuan dan ditingkatkan dengan memberikan pelatihan kerja terkait kepemimpinan yang bertujuan untuk memobilisasi dan mengarahkan karyawan dengan baik dan dapat memberikan solusi kepada karyawan dalam menghadapi masalah pekerjaan.
