Abstract

PT Lautan Indomas Utama, Medan is forwarding service, importer, PPJK Online Service and EMKL. This company needs to pay attention to employee performance, especially work discipline and job promotion. In this company, there is a decrease in labor discipline reflected in the level of work delays and job promotion system in the company that is still not good so that it has an impact on employee performance that decreases. This research also aims to identify the influence of work discipline and job promotion towards employee performance. Work discipline and job promotion have an important role in shaping employee performance. Work discipline and job promotion are highly connected with employee performance and company profitability. This research was conducted using quantitative, descriptive, and causal. The total of population and sample are 36 employees through census sampling. Data is collected by distributing questionnaires, interview and documentation. The result of the T-test shows that work discipline and Job Promotion have partially and simultaneously influence on employee performance at PT Lautan Indomas Utama, Medan. Furthermore, work discipline and Job promotion have 58.8% influence on employee performance. This research also passed the validity test, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test and the equation is Employee Performance = 0.074+ 0.566 Work Discipline + 0.607 Job Promotion + e. The recommendation for the company to create employee performance is to pay attention to the rules and give punishment to employees who commit violations and organize a better promotion system./ PT Lautan Indonesia Utama, Medan adalah layanan forwarding, importir, layanan online PPJK dan EMKL. Perusahaan ini perlu memperhatikan kinerja karyawan, terutama disiplin kerja dan promosi kerja. Pada perusahaan ini terjadi penurunan disiplin kerja tercermin dari tingkat keterlambatan kerja dan sistem promosi jabatan di dalam perusahaan yang masih belum baik sehingga berdampak pada kinerja karyawan yang menurun. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan promosi kerja yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Disiplin kerja dan promosi kerja memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan. Disiplin kerja dan promosi pekerjaan sangat terkait dengan kinerja karyawan dan profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, deskriptif, dan kausal. Jumlah populasi dan sampel adalah 36 karyawan melalui sensus sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil T-test menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan promosi kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Lautan Indomas utama, Medan. Selain itu, disiplin kerja dan promosi kerja memiliki pengaruh 58,8% terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini juga lolos uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda dan persamaan kinerja karyawan = 0,074 + 0,566 Disiplin Kerja + 0,607 promosi kerja + e. Rekomedasi untuk perusahaan agar tercipta kinerja karyawan adalah dengan memperhatikan aturan dan memberikan hukuman kepada karyawan yang melakukan pelanggaran dan mengatur sistem promosi yang lebih baik.
